Hello ! Nice to have you here in my site

Dear Friends, Relatives and everyone,

It so happens that, days pass by just like that!!.
Life goes on and on, waiting for no one;
It cannot wait either.

Nevertheless, some things stand out,
Hope is one of those things.

In the movie 'The Shawshank Redemption',
the hero Andy says:
      "Hope is a good thing; May be the best of things,
       And no good thing ever dies"

I personally feel that it is necessary to keep
the committment of 'Believing in God' alive and intact,
no matter what had happened in the past,
no matter what we did not get as we wished.

I once saw this beautiful poster in which,
there is this poor father and small kid son
at their dining table, hands clasped, eyes closed
and before them is their food plates with
a very simple meal of sweet corns;
The father is praying:
"Thank you Lord for answering our prayers".

I wish some day,
I should achieve that humbleness and grateful heart.

Most of the time I used to realise that,
it is not the fulfillment of our wishes that make us
forget our sorrows but it is the miracle of time
that takes the pain away from us;

Time gently crosses us as an angel,
who wipes off  bad memories
and sows within each and every one of us
new buds of hope.

Hope to stay alive, hope to be happy,
hope to love and be loved,
are the best hopes for me always.

I remember an old true story:

For two months since Peter Donohoo moved in
to this new community, he had been seeing this
little boy selling newspapers in the cold
winter roads. "What is your name?" asked Peter;
"David" said the boy, "David who?",
"I do not have a last name sir", said David.

The reply shook Peter and he saw some 'missing'
feeling in David's eyes. This 'friendship'
went on for two more months after which Peter
invited David for a family party; Unfortunately,
no one was willing to treat David with kindness
at home, and he refrained from such events after
that; But they had an air of life around them,
with hope, with vision, with love.

For the next 12 years no one really knew
any thing about this friendship.
The day Peter died, there was this 'unusual'
visitor at the cemetery prayers -
A young military officer from the British Army -
Lt. David Donohoo...
And the Lieutenant had brought a newspaper
to be left with the coffin.

- From Reader's Digest

Now is the time for new hopes,
new visions and a new understanding
about love and kindness.

That is the message I want to have myself
every day - day in - day out;
And that is the hope and vision
I want to share with you...

- "God bless you and your loved ones
with love and kindness"

Along with my wife Sulochana,
I wish you and your loved ones to have new hopes
in your life and also get them fulfilled.
